  OK - I have more time to write now. Last week, Aidan had what is known as Oral Allergy Syndrome. Google it for a detailed explanation. But in a nutshell, pollen allergies can cross react to fruits & vegetables that have the same protein stands as the pollen. Makes your mouth itchy, sometimes lips swell (Aidan had this). Rarely is it dangerous, benedryal takes care of it. When we went to the allergist to follow up, he did further tests, which showed he is also allergic to green peas!!! Which he hates, BTW. Green peas are in the legume family, and so are peanuts & beans - which he is currently NOT allergic to, but we need to watch.
